Recipe: Green Snickerdoodle Smoothie

This smoothie is great during pregnancy or the postpartum period! It’s full of iron (spinach), something all pregnant and postpartum mommas can use more of. Our mommas and doulas love this recipe for a quick and easy healthy smoothie that happens to taste just like a snickerdoodle cookie!


Ingredients:

1 handful spinach

1 frozen banana

1/2 small avocado

1/4 cup unsweetened Almond Milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Honey, to taste

Step 1: Add the spinach, avocado, and frozen banana to a blender. *If you don’t have a frozen banana (like me), the smoothie will be thinner than normal. You can enjoy it over ice, or you can add ice and re-blend to thicken.


Step 2: Add the Almond Milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and honey.


Step 3: Blend!


Thats it! Now you have a tasty smoothie that is full of vitamins and healthy fats. Enjoy and take a moment to yourself, momma - you deserve it!
